Baking soda is the common kitchen ingredient that we use to make our desserts and some yummy treats. But that’s not all these it does, but it also a beauty cabinet as it can do wonders for your skin. Baking soda is alkaline by nature that balances the pH levels in our skin and makes glowing with radiance. It can a great natural scrub that exfoliates the dead skin cells and reveal freshness of the skin. It also a great facial washer that makes your skin glowing and brighter. Baking soda for the face is a natural, effective treatment to heal and protect your skin. It has antibacterial and anti-fungal properties that kill the skin-damaging microbes. Baking soda has contained anti-inflammation properties, which help to get rid of acne, acne swelling, boils, etc. Here are some best ways to use baking soda.

1. Baking Soda For Glowing Skin

Maintaining and getting glowing skin, youthful, and healthy skin is not easy nowadays due to pollution. This mask has containe all the properties that help boost the skin’s collagen and remove impurities. Orange is a great source of vitamin C that helps to maintain natural glow while baking soda exfoliates your skin and removes the dead skin cells.

Gently mix all the ingredients and make a smooth mixture. Now evenly apply a thin layer of this paste on your face and neck. Make sure you wash your face before you do this. Leave it to dry for about 15 minutes. Using a wet cotton pad, wipe it off and then splash cool water to remove any residue

2. Baking Soda For Acne

  • 1 tablespoon distilled water

Lemon is an excellent source of citric acid and vitamin C that help to remove oil and disinfect skin naturally. It is a natural acid that can gently exfoliate and cleanse oily skin, leaving it toned and even. Baking soda helps dry out the pimple and its anti-bacterial property helps prevent further breakouts on your skin.

Mix all the ingredients. Gently wash your face with the face wash that suits you and apply this paste on the acne. Then wash your face after 2-3 minutes with lukewarm water. Use this paste twice a week to see a visible reduction in the appearance of acne.

3. Skin Whitening

  • 1 tablespoon baking soda
  • 2 tablespoon water

Use this mask as a facial wash can help you to get whiter skin naturally at home. Face scrub can gently exfoliate your skin and remove all dead skin and impurities from the skin that make you brighter.

Mix both and apply on your face and gently massage your face for 2-3 minutes and wash it off.

4. Lips



  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda

Honey is a natural skin lightening agent that light your dark skin and lips. It is also rich in bleaching agents that generally remove the darkness of the lip skin. Honey has been proven to have antibacterial and wound-healing properties, it will help to moisturize your lips.

Gently mix all the ingredients and make a smooth paste. Then apply this paste on your lips and rub in a circular motion. This will help exfoliate them and get rid of the dead skin cells. Gently wash your lisp with the lukewarm water after a couple of minutes.

5. Baking Soda For Blackheads

Now fill it up with water and shake it well to mix the two. Wash your face with a cleanser and wipe with a towel, then spray the solution on your face and leave it on so that your skin soaks it. This will help close the pores. You can store the solution in the refrigerator so it works even better.

It removes dead skin cells which lead to the fairer skin. That absorbs excess oil from the face and unclogs the skin pore. It prevents blackheads, whiteheads, and removes scars. Try these remedies.
